Computer vision for a K12 robotics program.
A robotics curriculum partner was losing hours every week to a deeply unglamorous problem: teachers were manually counting blocks by model, by color, by kit before and after every class.
We built an image-recognition system that detects, classifies and counts the pieces from a single photo of the tray. What used to take twenty minutes per classroom is now under a minute.
The bigger win wasn’t the time saved; it was that lost-piece audits stopped derailing lessons.
An LLM tutor that teachers will actually leave on.
A higher-ed platform wanted a tutoring assistant, but the early prototypes were either too permissive or too restrictive, the kind of feature that ships, gets one bad screenshot, and gets pulled in a week.
We rebuilt it around the curriculum itself: scoped to the course content, transparent about what it could and couldn’t do, with instructor visibility into every conversation.
Usage held past the novelty curve, which is the only metric that matters for AI features in education.
Rebuilding a learning platform without losing the school year.
A K–12 platform serving several million students needed a re-architecture but couldn’t take a single day of downtime once classes started.
We migrated infrastructure, rebuilt the rostering layer (Clever, ClassLink, OneRoster) and shipped a redesigned teacher experience in parallel .
Cutover finished two weeks before the first bell, with no support escalations on opening day.
